Socket]|[Tester is used to test socket connection as CLIENT. On successfull connection to a server you can send commands in text and binary mode. Also all incoming data can be viewed in both modi. If you for example select some area in the data window you can see what the exact equivalent is in hex data by switching mode. This is a great help for developers while searching for errors in the data transfere.
