MOVEit Freely is a secure, "drop-in" replacement for ftp.exe, the non-secure command line FTP client in Windows XP, 2000, ME, 98, 95, and NT 4.0 systems.

Unlike Microsoft's FTP client, MOVEit Freely can safely exchange files with secure FTP servers using 128-bit key SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption, the highest level of protection currently available for Internet communications.

MOVEit Freely can also transfer files to non-secure servers.

MOVEit Freely provides a simple way to quickly convert your existing batch-driven, non-secure file transfers into secure transfers -- with just a few simple changes to your scripts.

And "power-users" who enjoy the command-line interface can also maintain a familiar look and feel, while gaining full support for encrypted transmissions.
